In addition, with the purchase of 7 CDs or more, we will add FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING—with a registered track number!
Please be aware that for many titles we have only very limited quantities! Sales starts now at www.quartetrecords.com This offer expires on August, 21th
IMPORTANT NOTE: All orders will be shipped from August 22th.
Some titles do not have a limited edition number indicated on the page. I assumed that meant that these titles were not limited. Yet two of these (that I noticed) are either "sold out" (Crimson Peak) or close to selling out (The Last Valley). Are these limited but the number of units not disclosed? The license expiring? Not selling well so they're being discontinued?
Pick up some Piovani scores you guys. This man writes beautiful music. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully Quartet will release more of his music in the future.
And remember that Monday the 21st is not inclusive. This sale ends on SUNDAY the 20th on 23:59 Spanish time meaning 5:59 USA Eastern time on Sunday. When the clock turns midnight in Spain on Monday the 21st the sale automatically will be over and no discount and free shipping will be available. Learned my lesson from last year.

Sadly as they were sold out I was unable to get China Moon, the Battle of Algiers, Passage to India, Killing Me Softly or Crimson Peak. I also managed to grab Basic Instinct from another seller before the sale. That said I picked up: Contratiempo - Velázquez The Impossible - Velázquez Mama - Velázquez En Mai Fais Ce Qu'il te Plait -Morricone A Monster Calls - Velázquez The Last Valley - Barry Gernika - Velázquez
This sale is a great opportunity to acquaint yourselves with the music of two great Spanish composers, Velázquez and Iglesias before the titles sell out and to support this wonderful label. You won't regret it!
The Basic Instinct product page says TEMPORARILY out of stock. So... where Quartet says above "Only these units remaining from the following titles", they are referring to their stock and not the entire run (whatever the limited edition number is) having been pressed? I.e. Basic Instinct - they had the pressing plant do 1500 and those are sold out, but 500 more can be pressed (pulling numbers out of my ass as a "for example")???
BTW, I just checked the exchange rate and it's not as good for those using the dollar this year. My notes say a Euro cost me $1.10 last year, but right now it's $1.18.

That sounds about right. My guess is that some units might be returned and that only a certain number of CDs were pressed for a limited edition as seems to be the case with Basic Instinct. However it seems for many"obscure titles" that are sold out will not be coming back. I have not seen China Moon, the Battle of Algiers, Passage to India or Killing Me Softly reappear.
I'm curious about Crimson Peak. It wen from temporary out of stock to been sold out in over a few days. Anyway I manged to bag it on Amazon.
