I'll see if any of those tracks are on Youtube and find out what I think. If a selection of good cues doesn't work, then it's one dire score.

Try these tracks...

Rian + Mira Dreamfast
Aughra Awakes
The Dark Crystal: The Age Of Hope

It's on Spotify for free BTW.

Trevor Jones’s masterpiece. Jump ahead to see why.

I just couldn't bring myself to start watching this series the other night, when I was flicking through Netflix, looking for ANYTHING to watch!!
I doubt I ever will.

Its a mixed bag. Jim Henson characters can get pretty obnoxious and over the top. But there's wonderful stuff here too. When ever they focus on the Gelfings its pretty engaging. The art design and world building is breathtaking. Its rather woke though. I liked it in the beginning but its getting on my nerves and I feel less compelled to finish it out.

Why, oh why? It's a superb show, the best I've seen all year.

Aughra Awakes
The Dark Crystal: The Age Of Hope

Dear fluffy lord, if those are highlights, I won't go any further. I listened the second ones and abandoned the final one about a minute before it ended.

Not as dire as I thought it would be, but that's not saying much!

Aughra tried. Aughra understands. Aughra shall go back to studying the stars.

That's very much how I feel. I stuck it out to the end, but didn't really care for the way it resolved.

I honestly think Henson's "StoryTeller" series better embodied the spirit and tone of The Dark Crystal than this series does.
