The Fortress of Solitude is way cooler than the Batcave.

(pretty sure this was done, but there was a Second Battle of the Somme...)

The next 007 should be a black female.

Non-English spoken films are always more valuable than English spoken films.
Indi- and arthouse films are always more valuable than any other kind of film and are by no means extremely formulaic, predictable and snobtastically empty in their own way.

When the technology portrayed is no longer conform to state of the art, the film's general message is to be completely overlooked and the film itself is automatically to be dismissed.
Colossus for example is no longer to be seen because the absence of 3-D screens, and something as basic as a mouse makes its warning completely ridiculous and void.

Why didn't they get Kubrick to direct THE STAR WARS? He would have given it some depth.

Or maybe some of the James Bonds.

Why didn't they get Leonard Rosenman to score THE STAR WARS? Some good tone pyramids would have unified that score in ways that John Williams totally missed.

Why didn't they get Giorgio Moroder to score STAR TRACK THE MOTION PICTURE? Goldsmith can't write disco, and that movie needed something to move it along.

Lalo Schifrin's second season arrangement of The Man From UNCLE theme is vastly superior to Jerry Goldsmith's initial season original.

They should remake Free Willy but replace the whale with Paul Reubens.

I watched an old episode of Jonny Quest and was impressed by how socially progressive it was.

Star Wars should introduce the strong, independent, empowered female engineer/architect character who designed all those Death Stars.

Should it become FSM "law", I'd be more than happy to oblige.

Better try harder to start a nerd war, boy.

Jim Phelps:

Don't like the fact that Star Trek has sucked for over twenty-five years? Do what I do, and stick with the classic, original TV series, and you won't be disappointed.*

*Large swaths of the second season and the entirety of the third season excluded
