I know these would be long shots, but are any of these possible/on the table?

Mark Snow - The X-Files: I Want to Believe
Elliot Goldenthal - Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Anne Dudey - The Crying Game
Wojciech Kilar - Bram Stoker's Dracula
Trevor Jones - Dark City
Hans Zimmer etc - Hannibal
John Williams - The War of the Worlds
Alexandre Desplat - The Golden Compass

What about W. G. Snuffy Walden's excellent score to Stephen King's "The Stand" Mini-Series?
Any chance that La-La Land could/would release it in a more comprehensive form?

Dear MV:

Reasking some previous questions:

Hallo MV.

I wonder if there will any 60`s or 70`s TV-Series scores (no cartoons) released this year by LaLaLand (besides WONDER WOMAN, wich was confirmed to released 2017)?

P.S. heard some Dominick Frontiere music on the DVD release of Search. The music and themes he did in the sixties and seventies really deserves to be released. I miss scores like that.

Please give us some hope.

Was the Fright Night songs album the "major holy grail" they had been hyping for years, or is that a different release that hasn't come out yet?

I know many would say that most of James Horner's Sony Classical albums were long enough, but there were quite a number of scores that would still benefit from an expansion:

THE PERFECT STORM
THE MISSING
THE MASK OF ZORRO
DEEP IMPACT
BICENTENNIAL MAN
JUMANJI (not Sony Classical, but Epic Soundtrax, part of Sony)

TITANIC is of course off the table (obviously) but are any of these possible or even just scores anyone would want expanded?

I'm wondering about these as well, especially the first three. I'd also *love* any more music that's available from THE LEGEND OF ZORRO, which I like even better than MASK...

Here's DeputyRiley's excellent complete score breakdown for what's missing from...THE MISSING:

What many of us want to know, is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles boxset (John Du Prez) any closer to happening?

MV, you are being a *rockstar* answering all these. I wouldn't normally ask a Q, but since everyone else is doing it, any chance ever for STRANGE DAYS, the Revell score and the Deep Forest work alongside it?

Been trying to work on it for years. Avatar keeps getting in the way

Don't ask. Lol

Hah, well, we're finally getting The Abyss on blu-ray ...one day. Maybe when Lightstorm gets that out of the way!

Thank you for the answer - I'm happy to know it was at least on the try-to-do list.

Forgive me, MV, for posting a question not directed at you here (feel free to answer if you like though!), but has there actually been movement on a Blu-Ray for The Abyss? Is it really happening? It's amazing to think the only release that film has ever received has been that horribly small-framed DVD from—when was it? like 1998?

All right, I'll ask about a couple of modern titles I like (by composers I usually don't) that would be timely...

first, is it confirmed that Varese controls Graeme Revell's Power Rangers score in perpetuity? This is clearly the best time to put out an expanded version, what with the new movie coming out.

Similarly there is a fourth DragonHeart apparently in production and it would be great if Randy Edelman's score could receive the complete treatment. Like many others, for me it was a gateway album into film music collecting, and I suspect an expanded version would have pretty great sales potential. What say you, MV? A possibility from LLL?

Yavar

Seriously, a Revell ghost write that sounds like orchestral arse and a bad synth score from the mid 90s that resembles a hair commercial. Wow.

I guess Yavar goes for the aim low thing - who would ask for anymore Edelman! The worst major composer of all time, before Balfe turned up.
