Lots of Universal stuff coming out ? Hopefully! Hope this will be (finally) the year of some of these: The Jackal (Carter Burwell) The Flintstones (David Newman) Strange Days (Graeme Revell) Bird on a Wire (Hans Zimmer)

Lots of Universal stuff coming out ? Hopefully! Hope this will be (finally) the year of some of these: The Jackal (Carter Burwell) The Flintstones (David Newman) Strange Days (Graeme Revell) Bird on a Wire (Hans Zimmer) Strange Days is Universal outside North America, at home Fox has rights... IIRC MV mentioned they were looking into Strange Days but because of the Avatar sequels it would probably take some time. Or something to that effect.

We have a few remaining Fox titles still to come I'm hoping that Michael Kamen's X-Men is among those remaining Fox titles :-) (a 2020 release would make a nice "20th anniversary" edition) An expanded X-Men would be great, hopefully also including parts of Kamen's unused, more thematic score. But boy do I feel old realizing that film is already 20 years old!

Lots of Universal stuff coming out -- expanded editions... Where does Toto's DUNE stand? I recall Ford posting that it will be a challenging album to revisit after the 97 release...but did not elaborate. Have things changed? Who owns it? Toto, Polydor, Universal, the De Laurentiis Co? Or all the above? I'd love to see Universal Don its Heritage Collection Banner on a 2CD release...if its all theirs to do so? And with the reboot coming in December that could affect things, no?

Any updates on Diary of Anne Frank (if you can’t answer, I perfectly understand)?

Yeah, there are plenty that have kept getting pushed, unfortunately. The Adventures of Batman and Robin even appeared on a LLL poster in 2019 celebrating their releases, and still hasn't come out. I'm sure none of these are LLL's fault. I don't think anyone should worry about them being canceled until MV says something. Last we heard from him several months ago, TAoBaR and The Diary of Anne Frank are still happening. He did tell us about a couple of significant Franz Waxman expansions that were on LLL's to-do list, but which had to be cancelled when Sony cut off third-party sub-licensing of albums they control. So sadly until that changes we will not be getting Sayonara or The Spirit of St. Louis complete from LLL. Yavar

In this topic it was mentioned a seperate thread would be started for the Star Trek Leftovers album to post specific requests for missing cues once again. Does anyone know when this topic will be started (or if it already exists)?

Will there be any releases next month (not expecting a flyer or anything), just out of curiosity?
