Varèse Sarabande presents the next release in our “We Hear You” series, Revenge Of The Ninja: Enhanced Edition. One of our most requested releases, this is available for the first time on CD. Produced and assembled by composer Robert J. Walsh, Revenge Of The Ninja: Enhanced Edition contains 18 cues from the original score which were transferred from tape. For the Enhanced portion of the CD, Walsh used a new analog transfer and a tempo map to bring an electronically updated, lush power to his favorite cues while enhancing the electronic music’s orchestral quality.
Revenge Of The Ninja is the second film in Cannon’s “Ninja Trilogy” (Enter The Ninja & Ninja III: The Domination). After his family is killed in Japan by Ninjas, Cho (Sho Kosugi) and his son Kane (Kane Kosugi) come to America to start a new life. Cho opens a doll shop but is unwittingly importing drugs in the dolls. When he finds out that his friend has betrayed him, Cho must prepare for the ultimate battle. Revenge Of The Ninja remains to this day one of Cannon Pictures best loved films.

I wanted it so much. Then I heard the majority of it on youtube, and the desire was gone. I will get it however just because of the memories of that film and the time I saw it.
Revenge and Domination both are still the most entertaining Ninja films ever made, completely ludicrous, badly acted and all out fun.

Unreleased soundtracks showing up on YouTube in their entirety don't do the labels any good. I urge you to buy! Unless you meant that you didn't like the music - in which case, ignore me.
Roger Feigelson of Intrada said back in 2010 about this score:
"Sorry to say REVENGE OF THE NINJA won't be coming on the near horizon. We were going to do it, but the elements have been a problem. The composer hasn't been able to locate anything yet, and some of the MGM tapes are damaged and definitely missing the LP tracks."
So unless some other tapes have turned up, Varese must have worked some magic on the MGM tapes to bring them up to scratch.

Not my type of music. Youtube sample approved it after first 30 sec. But I'm happy that those who waited for it, and finally will get it.

Yeah, I will have to agree with you. I have never seen this movie or any in this series, but after reading all the posts on here of the requests to have this score released, I wanted to hear the score. I want to thank Cindylover for posting the YouTube cue, but this is not my type of score. Maybe next time.
