Just thought I would bump this thread as sometime in the past year the complete film was uploaded to YouTube -- I have added that to the top of the first post.
I will shortly (finally!) be posting Advance Liner Notes for Jerry's first feature score, Black Patch (1957), which would make a great companion to this score if Intrada or Tribute would like to tackle a Goldsmith rerecording project. (Also, James Fitzpatrick has said he would be more than happy to do these if anyone wants to fund 'em!)

Bumping this thread because we just covered this score -- with many substantial sound clips -- on The Goldsmith Odyssey. We also take about ten minutes to discuss and play Goldsmith's early concert work from the previous year, Toccata for Solo Guitar. My colleague Jens bought the original Laurindo Almeida LP (Contemporary Creations for Spanish Guitar) and had it transferred, so if you are curious about this wonderful early work in its original performance (no offense to Gregg Nestor but I do prefer this version by the artist who commissioned it) you should really check this out:
