Hadn't noticed, alas. But nothing wrong with having it up twice (or three times).

Re: It's a pain alright. If someone has a simpler method, I'm all ears. It's possible that some websites may allow images on their sites to be directly linked into this board, but that does not work for many sites. My method, cumbersome though it is, works every time.

As I wrote, I'm accustomed to simply saving an item and pasting it somewhere such as in an email, or taking icons for my photos and attaching or pasting them too. But THIS site doesn't allow me to do that -- when I try to paste something like that, nothing appears, and I just tried, as a test, to paste the cover of the "West Side Story" soundtrack right here, which I had "saved," but absolutely nothing came up when I did it. Again, I'll check with the AppleCare techs to see what they recommend. Thanks!

In October 1958, Zimbalist began a 6-year run in Warner Bros. best-known detective series, "77 Sunset Strip." Zimbalist had first played his character, Stuart Bailey, in an episode of Warner's anthology show "Conflict," entitled "Anything for Money," which aired on 23 July 1957. The pilot episode for '77 Sunset Strip," GIRL ON THE RUN was turned into a feature which was released overseas in 1959.

A buddy loaned me loaned me a VHS copy of the first episodes of the season six Jack Webb-produced, William Conrad-directed revamp of 77 Sunset Strip, which dumped Roger Smith and Edd Byrnes, putting Zimbalist center stage. The opener was called "Five," and it was pretty cool. Very noirish, with an all-star cast. Hopefully Warner Archive will put this out someday as it's pretty good.

The opening credits from 77 Sunset Strip: Five. Quite a cast;

Heh. Zimbalist's green pallor on that poster make him look like a zombie. wink

And featured Barton MacLane in a supporting role.

Yeah, that's true. As they say, a good cast is worth repeating. wink
