Do you know about King of the Roaring '20s? That title does not instill confidence! Do they do the Charleston? There is a source-music Charleston for a speakeasy, but the underscore itself is primarily jazzy. I'd say this one is jazzier than either Career or Sunset Blvd., but more melancholy than Crime in the Streets with its passages of plaintive solo cello.

Listening to "Images" now. This is right up my alley. We watched the film a few years ago, also. I figured you'd get to this one eventually, and approve. I can say that NOW, of course, after the fact....

More than seven years after starting the thread, the journey continues. Now enjoying some John Williams I didn't even know I had: "The Bronze Locust," from TV Omnibus. OnyaBirri said srsly? back in Feb re: my Top 10 Williams "1. Images 2. "The Crash" pilot for LAND OF THE GIANTS 3. The Ghostbreaker 4. "Rendezvous with Yesterday" pilot for THE TIME TUNNEL 5. The Towering Inferno 6. "My Friend, Mr. Nobody", a 1965 episode from LOST IN SPACE 7. The Poseidon Adventure 8. "The Bronze Locust", a 1963 segment of THE ELEVENTH HOUR 9. None but the Brave 10. "The Harpies", a 1959 episode of M SQUAD + a special mention for the best Williams soundtrack that Williams never wrote: Andre Previn's Dead Ringer srsly?"

It's good, but I don't know if I would put it in my top 10 John Williams. Then again, I'm not sure I have 10 John Williams. Just kidding, I probably have about 20 by now. I agree about "Images" and "The Crash," though. Regarding "Lost in Space," all four episodes would be a tie for me. They are permanently tattooed onto my psyche, from watching too many reruns as a kid.

Will OnyaBirri remember buying La-La's The Time Tunnel? Onya is allegedly receiving this as a gift, so he does not have it now. Why is LoungeLaura so tardy? Make it snappy! Onya wants to stash Time Tunnel away for 12 months so he could listen to it in 2022.
