Just a reminder that this is TOMORROW.

I've already bought a bunch of seasonal and non-seasonal beers.

Hoping to see some Christmas decoration in the background of your screens, as previously noted.

in any case, I wanted to alert everyone that the next -- and LAST before 2021 -- "Cheers" get-together is:

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH AT 21:00 OSLO TIME.

I have a challenge to y'all -- put up some Christmas elements in your Zoom window, in the background or otherwise. And buy some Christmas-themed beverages.

I'll be back with a link in due time.

Better make it before tomorrow night!! Lol smile

But it is far too early to be putting up decorations!

True. But maybe something just for the screen.

By the way, here's the link for tonight. It's the same link as it's always been:

I'd love to be there, but I've got myself into a stupid situation - working on Saturdays, so it means getting up early and feeling rested. I also don't have any Christmas decorations, but I might find a packet of Mint Humbugs at the supermarket.

So have a great time! Actually, depending on how stressful today is - and it's shaping up to be a cracker (ho ho ho) - I might drop in for a short time. But I'm so weak of will. I'd stay too long.

But enough of me. How are you all? Really? That's great. I've been under a lot of pressure actually. Let me tell you about it. It all started around the time I was born. Must have been early '60s. And it's been downhill ever since.

Never work on Saturdays! That's the Golden Rule.

Sorry to hear it, Graham, but understandable.

I had the same problem Howard. I am glad that I could join for the time that I did. Great to see everyone again. Thanks again to Thor for organizing.

A most excellent Cheers Zoom! Thor was kind enough to let Thomas and I help out with the questions. I really enjoyed the Christmas songs topic. Did Michael Scorefan get a chance to reply to the question?

Howard L. referenced “Gleasonian Orchestral Melancholia” again!

A really fun discussion!

Jim, I'm sorry that Mr. Stripes did not make an appearance.

Yes, great chat yesterday. One of the best "Cheers!" meetings, I think. We finished a bit early, perhaps (for you US folks), but I just came from another 3-hour Zoom party prior to ours, so I was running out of steam.

Jim, I'm sorry that Mr. Stripes did not make an appearance.

His absence only added to his already-considerable legend.

Three hours was plenty for me, and the timing was good as Mrs. Phelps got home about 10 minutes after we wrapped.

BTW, I wouldn’t mind discussing the 1980s at a future chat, just so those of us with mixed feelings about the decade aren’t frowned upon.
