I just emailed De Gemini at Beat records asking if there's any chance for a CD release of FESTA BAROCCA. I would be so happy if they could release it. It's been a long time since they released anything interesting in my opinion.
I was thinking of buying a vinyl LP in mint condition but alas, I don't have a record player.

I hope that you will get a positive reply, but I am not too optimistic about it as Beat nowadays is too busy with many other things - above all since they have given access to the Cabum archives so that the De Angelis scores have now become their priority. When Kronos published the two former Edipan LPs CIVILTÀ DEL MEDITERRANEO by Nicolai and L´UOMO EUROPEO by De Masi in January 2021 I had thought that maybe a few months later also FESTA BAROCCA would come along or a few more Nicolai scores, but unfortunately this was not the case at all. And in the meantime 3 years have gone by since those Kronos CDs. So what happened? Either the licensing was too expensive or it is the fact that too few copies of these documentary scores have been sold. Anyway, the CDs were limited to just 300 copies and not even those 300 have been sold till now. So everyone can imagine how little profit is to be made with such releases. Maybe it would have been better more than 10 years ago, but times have changed quite a lot.
I think Stefan pretty much summarized the state of things : quite a lot of CD releases limited to 300 copies of Italian or French scores don't even sell out ! That's why albums like FESTA BAROCCA probably won't make it on CD. Yet titles like CIVILTA DEL MEDITERRANEO or L'UOMO EUROPEO are really worth the money and are hands down way better than any score by the De Angelis brothers (although I like some of their stuff). Also think of the expanded STORIE DI VITA E MALAVITA that just came out on LP only. We have to face it, this is the current market situation.
Yes I probably got my hopes too high for a CD release of FESTA BAROCCA.
Anyway, seeing as Beat records also got access to a lot of mastertapes with soundtracks by Kojucharov (a very underrated composer imo) back in 2018 or so, I was hoping for more of his scores on CD. But it's been a long time since the last CD was released (which was BYLETH about 2 1/2 years ago). Let's face it, the good ol' days of Italian soundtrack releases are long gone.
