Don't you hate it when you're watching Don't Make Waves and the topless China Lee doesn't stand up just a smidge more in the pool scene?

I checked out Don't Make Waves because it was directed by Alexander Mackendrick who had helmed many of the classic Ealing comedies of the 1950s such as The Ladykillers. I was wondering how his English drollery would translate to a Malibu beach setting; mayhap an incisive study of American mores and manners from an across-the-pond perspective. Instead, I had to watch people like Claudia Cardinale and Sharon Tate in various states of undress. Kidding, of course, you fool! I watch all sorts of cinematic fare! Why I spent this past weekend watching all four of the "Airport" movies. Yes, I even viewed the entirety of "The Concorde"!

I'm sure this one has been done, but when the actors are far older than their counterparts they portray - particularly true of war movies: pilots, crew, etc.. WWII pilots typically varied in age from 19 - 21, with 25 considered mature and >30 being old. I think it would be interesting to see "kids" playing the parts. See: DUNKIRK Are you sure about pilots being that young? Seems to me training them takes a longer time than infantry.

Yeah but the farther back you go in time, the older people looked for their age. It's strange, but it's true. TRUE.

A captive gets away and runs through a forest or similar, emerges onto the road and then flags down the first car they see....which... big surprise...is the bloody villains who are trying to shoot them!
