Could we make sure they fit the impossible-to-find Vision Quest (1985) score into their next (1984-87) release. Remember seeing this film in the theatre and thinking the score in the final big wrestle match was impressive...and then realizing it was TD. Someone told me there was not enough cues/minutes to release it separately back then but I think many people who purchased the popular Vision Quest soundtrack would have at least liked 1-2 tracks of TD in the soundtrack release. Just didn't happen. Take a listen & you be the judge, 1:16 starts to take off -
Seeing it in context of the film it was pretty thrilling. Not their best stuff, especially during that period but definitely worth including. Heard Vision Quest was similar to Sorcerer in that they never viewed actual film during scoring of it. Can anybody contribute to this further?
I haven’t listened to it yet. I’m waiting to get my CDs in-hand. But a few of my friends on Facebook we’re freaking out about it so it might be a different version.
The Night in Romania is the only track from the old TDI cd that was actually the version heard in the film. So nothing new here. Sounds great though.
This piece has a second version in the film with some vocoder overlays where Cuza realizes Molasar is evil. Be great to have that too, but I never expected it.

I'm surprised not a lot of people are talking about The Soldier. It's the first time its ever been released. The Keep has already had a CD release, though an unofficial one. Have t listened to that one in a while
While there are only a couple of original cues for The Soldier, I have reason to believe is not a complete score though.
I'll be very happy if I'm proven wrong. Just trying to set my expectations based on the track listing
So do i but same bad expectations about the tracklisting, nothing new for me and i'm affraid that it will be only a new master for the original limited album The Keep produced by TD , not the real music as heard in the movie.
Someone told to me privately that there might be an LP from this KEEP release by Waxworks in a near future (hope great covers and illustrations) , the only way for me to buy this "not so real original" soundtrack from the movie
The Keep score included in the box set is definitively not the original music from the film. That music appears only in bootlegs of varying quality. As for a potential Waxwork LP release, I've heard the rumor as well and if true, I very much doubt they will gain access to the original music if they even tried.
