The Phelpsiana Agnosticism

Thanks, but it's been full-on atheism for decades.

Josh's damning of Cheerios with faint praise:

"My favorite part of a Cheerio is the air inside, a welcome respite from its oaty scaffolding"

299. solium in Star Trek the Motion Picture 40th Anniversary:

"Imagine a Blade Runner screening, they'll have to import fans from Norway or risk a complete no show."

I love me some anti-science-fantasy humor.

Rameau's post on when leeches attack in the "In Movies dont you hate it when...." thread.

Thinking about The African Queen & The Bridge On The River Kwai that I watched a few weeks ago, films are very bad when it comes to dealing with leeches, you should just leave them, they drop off when they're full up, about 20-30 minutes. If you shake salt of them, they could regurgitate some nasty stuff into your veins, & if you use a burn them off with a cigarette, they could fall off & leave part of them inside you, maybe leading to an ulcer, which could prove deadly in a hot climate.

This has been a public information message.

Clear evidence that Ramaeu is, in fact, doctor Rameau Hoffnung, world-renowned expert and owner of the largest leech farm in europe. smile

There's Christopher Hitchens level of trolling, then there's misquotes buzzing around the ear trolling.
Yours was the latter. You're better than that. wink

Look man!
I have family in South Florida. Close family. Whiter than white trash.
I think I can make humour out of our shared history.
Besides, he never should have said I " wasn't the brightest bulb" on this board.

Never should have said it? I think it's even better than the film footage line!

Not an "official" entry in this thread as yet, but several posts in "True Romance" are vying for enshrinement in this thread.

I love it when we proudly wear our film score prejudices on our sleeves:

302. Rameau in "What is your favorite movie scene?":

"Far too many to list, but one does stay in the mind. Linda Hayden stripping off naked to get into bed with Robin Askwith in Confessions of a Window Cleaner (1974). Ooo, she looked lovely!

...I'll get my coat."

303. Erik Woods going full Harry Caul in response to Tom Servo in "Jerry Goldsmith's AIR FORCE ONE - 2019 2CD Deluxe":

Tom Servo: "Great release, very happy to see/hear this, as I'm hoping that the sound quality itself will improved from the original album. I always felt the sound quality on the original album was a little muddled."

Erik Woods: "Sounds identical to me. The score has always sounded crystal clear to me. Actually, looking at the waveforms and loudness meters it seems like the new album is roughly 2db quieter."

304. Mr. Marshmallow, in this very thread:

"this thread sucks, big time!"

https://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=123923&forumID=7&archive=0

Marshmallow again, in "Threads you have NEVER Clicked on":

"Reading Jim Phelps' "Favorite FSM Posts.." thread is always fun."

"I JUST GOT BANNED FROM TWITTER FOR YELLING AT PEOPLE MAKING FUN OF MY CDS DYING AND NOW I WANT TO KILL EVERYONE IN THE FUCKING WORLD."

I've thrown tantrums just like that, except it was when I was 3 years old.

Maybe younger though I never threatened to harm anyone.
