US songwriter and producer Berry Gordy is 93. He wrote Reet Petite for Jackie Wilson in 1957 and I Want You Back (1969), ABC (1970) and I'll Be There (1970) for The Jackson 5. He worked with the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations amongst many others. He also produced films Lady Sings The Blues (1972, nominated for five Oscars) and martial arts comedy The Last Dragon (1985).
And now he's 94. And Woody Allen and Diane Ladd are 88.
British actress Susan Engel is 88. She appeared in the BBC's adaptation of A Farewell To Arms in 1966, with Vanessa Redgrave, George Hamilton and Donald Sutherland (now sadly wiped), Charlie Bubbles, with Albert Finney and Liza Minelli (1968), and Damage, with Jeremy Irons (1992),
Here she is in Harold Pinter's Butley, which also starred Alan Bates and Jessica Tandy (1974).
Kathryn Crosby, from The Guns of Fort Petticoat (1957) ,The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), Anatomy of a Murder (1959), and Bing Crosby's husband for 20 years, is 90.
Singer and actress Jaye P Morgan is 92. She had her own US TV show in 1956 (The Jaye P. Morgan Show), appeared in Loose Shoes (1980), Night Patrol (1984), and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). She also appeared in Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind (2002).
I remember watching her as a panelist on various TV game shows. And she guest starred playing herself in one of many memorable episodes of The Odd Couple that spotlighted talented music performers.

British actress Anne Aubrey is 86. She was only acting on screen for four years - 1957 to 1961 - but then married Derren Nesbitt for 10 years and retired from the industry. In four of her first five films she appeared opposite Anthony Newley (High Flight, Tank Force, The Man Inside and Idle On Parade) and went on to appear in another six with him.

With his co-writer Sam Denoff he wrote episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show before they went on to create sitcom That Girl (with list alumni Marlo Thomas) and another sitcom Good Morning World (with list alumni Joby Baker). He went on to direct 100 episodes of sitcom Kate & Allie, and co-wrote Michael Caine film Water (1985).
