If the main theme from The Secret of NIMH is considered Mrs Brisby's theme then I would say that's one of the most powerful themes for a woman. Just listen to The House Raising.

Off topic-ish... I never understood why "bitch" became such a nasty insult. Female canines are very admirable, loyal, brave, and protective. So it should be a compliment! (On the other side of things, telling someone they "have balls"... means they are sensitive and can be easily hurt?)

For etymology's sake, the Norse and Old English words which "bitch" derived from (meaning "female dog") began being used in the pejorative sense just in the sense that "dog" has largely been an insult towards both sexes of humans. Most obviously, in ancient and older cultures women were considered subordinate in society and of inferior nature. Of course there is also the "in heat" verbiage which enhanced the derogatory nature of the word.

Fair points, nuts_score! I guess it’s just the sexism of society that explains why one term became such a meaner insult when applied towards a woman, compared with just calling a man a “dog” which really doesn’t have the same tone of nasty to my ears.

If the main theme from The Secret of NIMH is considered Mrs Brisby's theme then I would say that's one of the most powerful themes for a woman.

Don't you mean "womouse"?

This one for me. I remember when I first saw Aliens, when Ripley takes control of the APC, the audience I was with went apeshit! James Horner's music was perfect.

Yeah Morgan's theme in Cutthroat Island is pretty powerful/bad ass?

Yep. That's spot-on.
