I Due Evasi di Sing Sing is now confirmed on LP and soon on CD. Although currently only the LP can be ordered. Maybe the CD will be released by another label. https://sonormusiceditions.bandcamp.com/album/i-due-evasi-di-sing-sing Indeed, on their Facebook website Sonor now announces that the CD of DUE EVASI will be released by Quartet Records (probably in January/February 2021): "Sonor Music Editions proudly announces his first release and the first commercial edition on vinyl (shortly followed by a CD edition on Quartet Records) of maestro Morricone's soundtrack to the film from 1964, directed by the legendary Lucio Fulci and starring Franco franchi e ciccio ingrassia. We present a pseudo unreleased gem by the greatest all-time composer at the beginning of his career, originally released on an impossible-to-find promo-only library release in the late '60s, and due to that, remained concealed until now. Thanks to the precious collaboration of Claudio Fuiano and Daniel Winkler, we've been able to recoup the original Mono master tape with the original soundtrack sequence and also adding two bonus tracks from the original session. The music enhances the stories of two sloppy thiefs (Franchi & Ingrassia) in the styles of orchestral Jazz and Bossa Nova, with more sweet and cheerful themes built around the bewitching character of Gloria Paul. First edition limited to 500 copies only, printed on a thick cardboard sleeve with tip-on. Graphic design by John Henriksson (Piano Piano)." https://de-de.facebook.com/sonormusiceditions/

Me too, although I'm not sure what it has to do with the SEGRETO album. ). I think you will find its related to Decca's ongoing release of Morricone stuff.

Just as with the Morricone Segreto album, I think it is again Decca/Sugar in Italy. And they will release both a CD and a double LP of Morricone´s I MALAMONDO as well as of Ortolani´s MONDO CANE on February 19th in Italy: By the way, one of the reasons for this CD/LP reissue of I MALAMONDO seems to be that the track "L´ultima volta" will be featured in the new Wes Anderson movie "The French Dispatch" which had already been shown in Cannes last year and which will be released this year in US cinemas. It is obvious that Decca/Sugar want to exploit the reuse of this music as it is even mentioned in their French press release text on Amazon France: "Dans le cadre d’un nouveau partenariat mondial avec Sugar Music, Decca Records recueille les catalogues prestigieux de musique de film du label italien CAM, fondé à Rome en 1959 et riche de plus de 2000 références.

CAM Sugar states on their Facebook website that I MALAMONDO was for them their "Morricone Segreto No. 2" album. Tomorrow they will announce their "Morricone Segreto No 3" album. And if you have a look at the half-hidden cover ("Censored Title"), you will notice that it is probably IL BANDITO DAGLI OCCHI AZZURRI (THE BLUE-EYED BANDIT) from 1980 - one of the few jazz scores that Morricone wrote: https://www.facebook.com/CAMSugarMusic/ "Morricone Segreto, the series that explores the less-known production of the Maestro Morricone, is coming back. After the release of the collection that gave the title to the series, and the early and eccentric score from I Malamondo (1964), tomorrow we are announcing the third episode of the series: one of the very few jazz soundtracks ever composed by the Maestro. Can you tell what soundtrack is it?" However, IL BANDITO has already been released by Beat Records in 2013 with additional tracks and is still available. Wjy then another edition?.

In the meantime it has become quite obvious that they will release on CD only what in their opinion is commercially viable. Of course, Morricone sells sufficiently - so a CD (plus LP) is ok for them. But just a few days ago they have for example even released Riz Ortolani´s MONDO DI NOTTE NO. 3 - better known in the US as ECCO as there was a WB LP with this score in 1965 - only as digital download (with a few additional tracks in comparison with the old LP) in their "Mondo" series, although ECCO has never had any CD release at all till now. So this score is not commercially viable enough for Sugar/UMG/Decca! If not even the Ortolani title is worth a CD release, why then should the even more unknown IL VUOTO by Trovajoli?
