I find the construction of the album a little odd. The super grandiloquent statement of the main theme comes unexpectedly in track 19 ("I Didn't Hear a Thing") followed by another action track before the end titles, which begin again with the grand main theme.
I watched the film last night and this is exactly what happens in the film. Track 19 is the big finish to the movie. Then, a source cue ("We Are Family") starts playing over the final moments, and the credits begin rolling. Then, after a few screen credits, a "bonus scene" starts showing in between various credits, until eventually the scene finishes up without interruptions, this is the track 20 cue. Then when that scene is over and the credits resume, track 21 plays. I finally watched it. Track 19 is indeed the big finish, but track 20 on the album "Pea Soup" comes a bit earlier, so not sure why it was placed here. In between Track 19 and the end credits in the actual film a gentle version of the main theme is heard, followed by another huge statement at the beginning of the main credits that is nowhere to be found on the release. So what we're getting at the end of the album is slightly incomplete and in the wrong order. Tremendously enjoyable score.

Finally got the hear this score. Wonderful! Gorgeous! Enjoyable! This kind of orchestral 'sturm und drang' is exactly what we need these days.

I listened to multiple cues and while the craftsmanship is there, the memorable themes and enjoyment is not there. I can't say I blame Silvestri -- tis film looks appallingly bad. This didn't need to exist. It fills not viewing pleasure void. And it reeks of undercover wokeness.

Ok, now inspired to jump in again and say how much I LOVED this score. One of my top 10 from 2020. And an amazing feat that it was recorded during Covid.

it’s bracing to hear a score that could not be mistaken for any other composer. Quote of the year right here!! Piggybacking off this sentiment because it really has become something of a rarity to be able to tell just by hearing the score but I felt the same way during Ready Player One. The movie did nothing for me but hearing Silvestri do his thing was very refreshing, especially with those little nods to Tunnel Chase from BTTF.
