Ultimately Osgood got on my nerves. I liked the fact that like previous characters she was a fan (with a link to the ones watching) wearing the scarf and the question mark collared shirt... but mmm.
I don't use Twatter but it had better be "Don't bother".

Thought that was quite sweet actually. Love The Three Doctors, being a Pertwee fan, but I haven't bothered with any of these watchalong things. I have managed to persuade the wife to watch a few Tom Baker episodes at the end of most evenings just before bedtime. Most of the stuff from Robot to Sarah Jane leaving so far.
Got away with this because she had the bright idea to start watching an episode every Saturday tea time as if it was still on. All the way from the beginning. Except her idea of the beginning is Christopher Eccleston's first episode, Rose. On that front we've just finished watching Father's Day, which I quite like actually.
RTD's final tweetalong tonight. A double bill of New Earth and Gridlock. Here's the special scene written by RTD, starring Anna Hame and David Tennant reprising 10th.
The last two series can rot in hell for me. Been watching the Tom Baker episodes in the last few weeks to remind me of why I'm a fan, and to try and wash away the sh*t of the last two series. I've even been buying the odd story I missed on dvd, so we haven't had a break in the series.

Who could ever imagine a series getting in the hands of people who truly don't understand why it was loved and what made it great in the first place?
*cough* Warner Bros/DC *cough* Disney/Star Wars *cough* whoever the f**k is in charge of Doctor Who at the moment
