And, not to flagellate a deceased equine specimen, but: I assume he has not apologized to you. I assume he hasn't provided any proof of his accusation against you. I bring this all back up again because LeHah assailed your honor and dignity and I want to see you vindicated. Hang in there! Thanks Jackfu. But I don't need an apology and it would probably be hollow anyway. I wonder if he might be lurking about, chuckling about all the attention he's gotten, claiming victory by getting folks stirred up, you know? How did that old skit go? "Well, look how I slammed my nose right into your fist! Take that!" I have to say, it's sure been enjoyable, not having to see some overheated diatribe about what lowlifes we are. I can think of one recent thread about a real tragedy and some comments in there that would have likely had him ranting about a certain type of "phobia". They made me laugh too and I generally enjoyed their silliness. At times they got a little to obnoxious or overbearing. Honestly, I don't miss those guys - I don't harbor any ill feelings; but it really got to be a nuisance at times and a lot of their stuff was just constant shots at folks that were neither amusing nor thought provoking. Facetious stuff is one thing, and even facetiously wishing evil on someone is perhaps harmless, but not the best way. Literally wishing cancer on someone is just sick and speaks volumes about the one doing that. I didn't see that thread and I feel badly that he did that to you. Good point. I remember when I first signed up here, I thought Marsh was a bit of an abrasive contrarian. But when I eventually grokked where he was coming from, I was highly entertained. YOR had legit points in many of his posts--and his responses to the attacks of the pseuds was icing on the cake. But it happened, and MANY PEOPLE on here SAW IT and REMEMBER IT. Apart from the sick individual who actually wrote/said it...and who now denies all knowledge of it. YOR was a hoot but I think near the end he started to get nasty and that led to his demise. Again I think his shtick wore off and it just lead to being more abrasive. Facetious stuff is one thing - "Why don't you go play in the highway!". Wishing cancer or death on someone, that's something else.
