I was the beneficiary of this old thread recently and so I decided to add a few additional cues from the relaxation playlist I put together: The Canyon, A.R. Rahman, 127 Hours (this was the first song in our playlist and this often put our son to sleep before it ended) Toy Carousel...., Georges Delerue, Amazing Stories Vol. 1 Science and Magic, Patrick Doyle, Thor Dining on Ashes, Cliff Eidelman, Star Trek VI Battlestar Sonatica, Bear McCreary, BSG Season 3 The Winds Gently Blow Through the Garden, James Horner, The Boy in Striped Pajamas And here are three divinely relaxing classical pieces: Gymnopedies No. 1, Erik Satie (this is one of my ultimate relaxation cues) Spiegel im Spiegel, Arvo Pärt (top notch sleep inducing minimalism) Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major (Air on the G String), Bach (I recommend this soothing recording: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00118XD8Q/) Enjoy. I'll give a serious response of a full album that I don't think was mentioned years ago - John Barry's My Life, and also I think Indecent Proposal (the new Intrada version) might be a good candidate. But an even better choice might be the Raymond Scott "Soothing Sounds for Baby" series. I can't for the life of me remember what we played for my daughter when she was an infant, but I don't recall making a playlist....

I have a baby that doesn't sleep too much? In your opinion what scores could be appropiate for this purpose or at least some that might calm the baby. Thanks in advance for your answers. Best Just about any of John Barry's later scores.
