Sex is not the sole purpose of living life, despite what the media and consumerism desperately pushes onto everybody 24/7. It should be a niche rather than an everyday occurrence. I have to deal with enough of it in my line of paying work, I don't need more of it in my free choice of lifestyle.

You might want to try it sometime, maybe you'll change your mind.

Oh goody - the guy who enjoys watching mindless blood & gore slashup horror films and who told me to "grow up" (because nothing says grown up more than taking pleasure in watching people getting killed in as many gruesome variations as possible... apparently) now insists that I need to have sex in order for my opinion to be valid.

This is the part where I put you on block. Have a good day!

You might want to put the entire internet on block, there's sex everywhere! eek

It's part of the reason why I've chosen to stop indulging in 99% of movies/TV/video games that have come out in the past ten years, and with society's irrational fear of change (preferring instead to hold a tight grip onto "traditional values"), my stance isn't going to change anytime soon.

Good luck with that chastity taliban thing.

I was trying to stay away from your posts, but I am offended by this most recent post. Yes, I took the bait, since it was a woman topic. I believe you have issues and you need to seek professional help, especially if you find commercials like this entertaining. Do not rush out to have sex, I think you can HANDLE it on your own.

The disdain here reminds me of the violent reaction some had to The Crying Game.

You guys got fooled, she looked hot, you wanted to tap that...turns out it was a bloke.

Don't worry, most of you probably arent gay.

In a changing world where homosexuality is finally being accepted after uncountable years of being ostracized, I am exceedingly amused at your amateurish display of half-hearted "sorry, but not sorry" bigotry. As if someone being gay is a slur or that watching The Crying Game made people gay? Or something?

Is that really what I said? Read again?

at the time some people's reactions towards The Crying Game were somewhat antagonistic, because they felt they have been had.

(also, I'm rather amused by the fact that I haven't brought up MLP:FiM in months here, while everyone else keeps playing that card whenever I'm around. It's almost as if they've settled their inner conflicts and finally decided to take a liking to watching it. Not that that's a bad thing, of course)

That's a lie; you brought up MLP less than month ago.

Can you point me out to where I said I found the commercial entertaining? I believe I said no such thing.

Yes, I know I need to get my head out of the sand to conform to society's demoralizing standards. What else is new in the court of public opinion?

Don't worry, most of you probably arent gay.

Most here certainly aren't happy, I'll give them that much. wink

I thought about explaining myself further regarding my position, but I'm growing increasingly weary of giving a shit. Take it or leave it. Y'all are going to be offended of me regardless of what I say or do, just because I'm cast as an easy target for mockery and vitriol. Fearing what you don't understand and such. No amount of word salad on my part is going to convince anyone otherwise.

(much like the "stop liking what I don't like" virus, signing one's name to their post offends certain types also)

The best *and* worst part about this reply is that through editing and simply not mentioning, you ducked past my pointing out your earlier bigoted predilections and basically confirmed that suspicion. I apologize for wasting my time.

You posted this thread! You could have viewed it and passed right over it, but you had to post it. You like it. If you have no interest in it, then you must not have any interest in your other posts like label releases and going OOP titles.

Don't particularly see anything wrong with it, and yes I had guessed what the twist would be.

Its an ad, what is the problem?

There's no problem with the original post, but if your going too add a personal moral statement then your kinda asking for trouble. Especially on this board! Because ppl are not shy about responding in kind. Don't make yourself a victim by inviting debates on social issues. Which is sort of against board rules anyway. Now all the MLP hate and name calling is just juvenile, and those ppl only show their own infancy when they continue to bully.
