"rotgut" ---------------- Man, I haven't heard that term since me Dad was alive. He used to use that term* to describe ANY whiskey that wasn't of Irish or Scottish origin.
*he actually used to say gut-rot..don't know if that was his tweaking or the English way..
Specialty beer and funky synthwave is a better combo!
But yes, jazz and cocktails are no doubt fine. Just never got to experience the two together very often.
This is well off topic (I hope Onya doesn't mind!) but Thor, have you ever listened to The Midnight? LA based synthwave band. I've only recently started to listen to their stuff the past few months after a friend recommended them to me and I think they are fantastic. I'm hoping to see them on tour next year.
