Defo not von ryan Kev Sinatra is grabbed by the italian soldiers and driven in a half-open flatbed wagon, with just a bar frame at the rear,. But the truck is full up of soldiers and you can see them. Hey Thor! Did you see number 4? Yes its that famously obscure blockbuster of its day, Lonely are the Brave! Also, the building looks weathered and not makeshift as opposed to a more temporary construction. The vehicle seems to be a decade and half to two decades older than WWII.

7) Studs Lonigan? Hi, A&C As the OP mentions the date range as starting from 1957, I'm thinking #7 could be from Black Patch because the font used looks like 'old West' to me. Could be wrong, since I've seen neither Studs nor Black Patch.

Could be wrong, since I've seen neither Studs nor Black Patch. Good morning Mr. ZardozSpeaks: I can now confirm that it is NOT Studs Lonigan, because as I've just learned, Mr. Goldsmith goes under the name "Jerrald" Goldsmith in the credits. On the other hand, the drum kit under the piano doesn't square with a Western. Baffled, am I. P.S. Can anyone confirm the if my answer for 2 is correct? i.e. City Hall

On the other hand, the drum kit under the piano doesn't square with a Western. Baffled, am I. Hmmm ... one of these images is from 1957, though. Goldsmith did TV in '57, too, but only one film. So Black Patch has got to be one of the answers.

Yeah, 2 is City Hall (the Pacino clue) and 19 is The Haunting (the Jan deBont/Liam Neeson clue). Thanks. I got that one, but Mr. afn wrote Thirteenth Warrior (?).
