Shocking.
But at least we have a consolation in the shape of the belated and previously-promised Anne Frank.

At least Love Actually (although Bridget Jones would be far more interesting) and Diary of Anne Frank are pretty great. Still have to wait for someone to post what is the final one. The other two... meh!

EDIT: OK... so at least two great titles there.

Seems to me more like a standard monthly announcement instead of a Black Friday extravaganza. Fiddler I know some people have been asking for... as for the others I can't say I'm familiar with any of them (or the films they accompany).

I'm feeling rather... whelmed.

So Fiddler on the Roof is not a great title...? Oh yeah, I forgot. You hate Williams.

Like when the credits began to roll in Phantom Menace? lol

Great titles and the one I’m more happy about is Friday the 13th from newly discovered masters (and with the song at the right speed)

The masters for this score were believed lost for the past 40 years and the previous release, even sounding very good, was sourced from film stems with fade outs, cross-fades and edits. It is my favorite score in the series and it will be great to have it complete and in the best possible sound. I hope they found in the same vaults the scores for other entries in the series, specially for Part V.

Well... Not particularly excited.

I love LLL, I really do, but Armstrong's Love Actually score is the only one of real interest in this batch.

Friday 13th is popular, but I'm happy with the original Box (plus that new b&w artwork is dreadful). Golden Age scores are of little to none interest to me, so nothing more to say about it. And I really dislike musicals (even being a Williams), so for me Fiddler is a pass.

It's a very diverse selection. I don't think there will be anyone who goes wild about all five titles. But on the other hand, there will be very few people on this board who will say they do not like at least one of these scores.
I will surely get the Newman, give the Armstrong some thought and wait for more info about the extend of sound effects on the third disc of the Williams.
And if its only the Newman, it will get more spinning time. That's a good thing too. Way too many releases habe vanished into the shelf due to too many titles with too little time.

I think it's a strong, diverse batch, with something for everyone.
The John Williams release is a no-brainer for me. I'm beyond excited to hear this one.
Some of the score tracks on that one recall THE FURY and DRACULA in their intensity.
The Craig Armstrong score is lovely, and despite having the FYC version, nothing beats a proper, shiny, well-produced edition.
I will probably take a punt on DIARY OF ANNE FRANK too, cos I've come to appreciate how brilliant Alfred Newman was quite recently and to support LLL in their efforts to release Classic Film Music.
I'm already happy with my KARATE KID Box Set that Varese released, so I'll pass on that one.
And I'm not a fan of the FRIDAY 13TH series, so I'll leave that for others too.
Maybe it's the lack of Goldsmith that's underwhelmed many people around here wink

In my opinion, it’s a pretty solid batch.
Not every title is “for me” but that is quite alright. I’ve seen a lot of requests for all of these titles.

That Angel set that got canned at the last min would be a nice if unlikely surprise.

I am praying for this every month!
I know its cancelled and wont happen, but a part of me still cant give up on it! lol!

I think this is a great batch, thanks so much La La Land! BTW, I was waiting to see if STAR TREK III was going to be in this batch, but since it wasn't I finally ordered a copy of the Retrograde set.

The majority of the cover from this batch are white with black and red touch (except the blue of diary of Anne Frank)

I can see SCARFACE coming to complete in the last 2 titles ! His cover is white and black with a red touch!
Especially FRIDAY the 13th ultimate cut!
This is my personnal opinion about the design presentation...
