Any chance signed copies might be available for TREMORS, X-FILES and FREAKY?

Any chance of an expanded Conspiracy Theory (Carter Burwell)?
(I may have asked this before, but I keep dreaming of it! lol)

Has an expanded Burwell score ever happened, btw?

MV, does LLL have a secret handshake?

I can't tell which one of those I like best. I like the pounding of the chests in the bottom one, but the bananas in the top are what really do it for me.

Supposedly a Psycho III expansion is in the works from some label; Burwell revealed it in an interview this year but didn't name the label. Apart from that, I don't think of any expansions...but Quartet premiered Kiss the Girls and LLL premiered Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

They're only going to appeal to the musical archaeologists though, Mike. I can appreciate what MV is probably feeling--"fine, we'll put these out and only sell a 100-125 at most."

As I say this, I would love to have a multiple disk set of Morton Stevens' work (and the one Goldsmith effort) on the shortlived '61 series 87TH PRECINCT, but there's no doubt only about 40-50 people who would truly support it.

I remain grateful for all the rare wonderful things we have gotten over the past two decades.

There is some great classic scores by Morton Stevens from 87TH PRECINCT.

I would love to have a CD of these wonderful scores:-)

Ah yes, that is true. I guess that will be the first ever expanded Burwell score!
I know there's a few that still never have been released (like mentioned on this thread), but Conspiracy Theory is screaming for an expansion imo! There was so much great stuff left out of the OST. smile

I agree. Conspiracy Theory is a great score and I'd love an expansion.

MV,

Any chance we will see Carter Burwell’s scores to Fear or Kalifornia in the future?

And also Burwell's The Jackal?

I would also love to see Burwell's The Jackal getting either the La La Land Records or Intrada treatment that it richly deserves!

Unfortunately, I am not sure we will ever got anything more than the samples on Cater Burwell's website due to issues around how Burwells music was 'remixed' in the movie against his wishes.

A quick question for MV: is Quinn Martin volume 2 - The Invaders out of print or just temporarily out of stock?

Has anyone received their KK2 Replacement CD yet? Just curious if they have been sent out yet.

Dear MV,
Is an expanded edition of Goldenthal's Final Fantasy: The Spirit within something on LLL's bucket list?

I'd love both Conspiracy Theory and The Jackal. Conspiracy Theory has so many big great moments that weren't on the album. I remember there's a cue that repeats twice in the movie. First when Jerry and Alice are escaping his burning apartment and then later when Alice is escaping the farm.

The Jackal would be such an interesting release. I'd love to have Burwell's untouched score and then the butchered film versions just to see what all they did to his music. It'll probably never happen but it would make for an interesting release.

Geez, that would be great! big grin

And if not, will the soundtrack for "GoldenEye" by French composer Eric Serra be released by the brilliant publisher La-La Land Records?

Yes! That farm escaping cue is my absolute favorite cue from that movie! Was so let down when it wasnt on the score release frown Sometimes I just dont understand how they pick cues for an official release...

Speaking of Burwell action scores, is a complete MERCURY RISING including both his and Barry's contributions over here in the "It ain't gonna happen, son!" pile?

Varese released the original one, so they are the only one that can do a complete release. Would definitely be interesting to hear Burwell's replacement cues.

Not to say you're right or wrong, and I would tend to agree with you, but for what it's worth MR wasn't included on the perpetuity master list thread here.

I would very much wish that one day LLLR they released the soundtrack to "Enemy of the State" (1998) by composers Harry Gregson-Williams and Trevor Rabin.
Above all, I would love the soundtrack to "Cube" (1997) by the brilliant composer, Mark Korven!
Because there is no physical medium worthy of the name ...
