This on the BBC Football website:

Premier League clubs have been told they could have to repay an estimated £340m to domestic and international broadcasters - even if the season resumes behind closed doors.
And BBC Sport has learned the clubs were warned on Monday that figure could rise if the season is curtailed or if relegation is scrapped.
Club officials met on Monday to continue talks on 'Project Restart'.

SKY might be all over it but BT Sport has the Bundesliga in the UK and they are showing all those games live. Still think without supporters it will be awful to watch, as that's what football is all about no matter what the broadcaster says.

I'm surprised about how little i miss football. I never think of it and have no real hankering for it to return. If anything, it's just reminded me of all the aspects i don't like about it; the greedy money-loving aspects, the bizarrely massive wages for lots of players (not all, obviously), and the governing bodies all being scumbags.

In the absence of anything else to do, BBC Sport is running a live text commentary of the Bundesliga matches.

Im getting sick of our footballers whingeing.
Its on a daily basis.
Just fkn play.
Every player is being tested, they will probably be the safest people in the country, mixing with people they know are corona free.
If you are worried about your kid catching it then rent a flat with your millions and isolate for a month till games are done.

Ffs stop whingeing.

Will anybody give a crap about football when it returns to an empty stadium near you?!

Liverpool fans surely?

Your next two games are arguably your most important league games in 30 years! smile

I'm pretty sure Leicester fans will want to see this season played out too.

As an Arsenal fan I would have been OK with the season being voided as we would have probably got Chsmps League football through the back door, but in the interest of fairness the season had to be completed, and I'm sure millions of football fans, and fantasy football fans will be really looking forward to the season resuming. The empty stadiums and lack of atmosphere will take some getting used to, but fans have been living on the scraps of MOTD reruns and such for weeks now and would happily watch any football, lower league stuff.even womens football, so even a muted PL will be much appreciated.

Any of you guys heard of Bones, a band from Camden?

Some of their stuff is rap crap but heres a remix of 1 of their tracks, Rodeo Rerub. I love it. Western clippity-clop-flavoured track, but gets very erm... familiar around 6.40mins and especially 7.14mins - a few of you will recognise it!! smile

Nevvverrrrrrrreerrrrrrdddddddofffffiittttttt.

edit, that was a long way to go to hear a snippet of some Ennio. I did cheat and just cut to the chase, from your timings (and Carole begged me to turn it's repetitive rhythm off, cos it was winding her up).

Yes repetitive rhythm, good phrase. But like Enigma, its great shag music.

Im so fkn tired of their whingeing. Just play.

Never thought id say this but ive really not missed it, and atm i dont care if see it or not. Maybe that'll change.

We always start a new season badly - unfit, minds still on the beach, - so first 5 or 6 results should see us relegated. smile

-------------------
Music?? When shaggin'??
The only thing I wanna hear when shaggin are my own ragged, gasping (potentially final) breaths.
Makes things way more exciting

wink
