It was a good save by Alisson in the first half. That was pretty much the only thing he's had to do all tournament so far.

Again another smelly u-turn after half time.

Did infantinos betting gangsters go into the dressing room at half time n say No more scoring against Korea? Or you cant play until korea get a goal?

And now we have the typical betting scam where the world bets on 5 0, 6 0, 7 0, 8 0...and Brazil to score next.... then all those billions in the betting companies coffers now korea have a rogue never-score-in-a-million-years goal frown

What a shit stinkin second half after a superb first half.

Be honest, how many of you thought brazil wouldnt score at least once more in second half?
Exactly. Was like watching 2 dodgy boxers stink up the ring.

Great goals, but the Brazilians seem a little bit arrogant with all their dancing. They even went over and got the manager doing it.

I'm not sure about Richarlison's head tennis either.

Will be interesting to see how they play under pressure.

Brazil deserve to get knocked out in the next round for Crimes Against Haircuts.
It's painful to look at eek

And yeah Bill, there was a real pong about that whole second half Brazil goal shut down.

I found the first half between Brazil and Korea electrifying and convincing, all sectors of the team working well and good rapport between the players and the coaching staff. Beautiful game! Second half was very slow and bureaucratic.

Croatia and Japan, on the other hand, was soooo boring. It's hard to explain Japan, after dispatching Germany and beating Spain, feeling so much weight when it comes to taking the penalties.

You folks got a short memory of Brazilian jigs - those were famed by Bebeto & Romario, two of the very-best to wear a Brazilian shirt.

Football is a game of two half's - you see it in the premiership or Championship a lot, first half the flood gates open the second you get the drought.

I watched the England USA game - looked to me that they shook on the draw before kickoff.

If England keep Mbappe reasonably quite & play to their near ability, they should beat France quite Handly, Griezmann more often than not is not much substance.

3:0 Gee, I wonder if Korea will be able to turn this around.

Not a chance against this team.

Yes, it was an obviously one sided game. smile
Though at least Korea managed to "win" the second half.

No team has been super stable on a high level in this WC, but the way things look now, I'd be willing to put down money on the final being France vs. Brazil.

Morocco stifling spain.
75 min 0 0, spain struggling. Morocco had chances. Spain passing endlessly with little penetration.

Pens, but quite a few chances for both sides
Morocco been very brave n battled very hard.
They almost deserve to go thru as Spain average.
U would think Spain would have the advantage for first 5 pens with busquets, morata etc.
We shall see.

And Morocco did well, keeper Bono kept spain out with 3 saves, including busquets!

I thought Japan's penalties were bad yesterday, but Spain's were probably worse there! Although to be fair their keeper did well.

Ha, the first upset of the week. I do love the drama of a penalty shoot-out. I thought Spain would be better at penalties, a lot of the saved ones just weren't kicked hard enough. It's oh so easy for me sitting watching it on the telly, but just drill it in as hard as you can into the inside side netting, almost unstoppable.

Dreadful match. If football is chemistry, here's an example of two teams that don't mix well. Spain with their endless sideways passes and slow builds, Morocco with 110% intensity in the duels, but with little quality play. One destroys the other and vice versa. Loads of tension, but terrible as football entertainment.

But I suppose it's good for Africa to have a team through.

It was brutal stuff, from Morocco in particular.

There was chances at both ends, and lots of them, so despite the defensive nature of Morocco's tactics, it was quite tense n exciting, Purely because a minnow matched a giant.
