Hiya, creeps!

The "School of Life" videos on literature and philosophy. While informative and entertaining, they should not be taken as exhaustive, but they should inspire the intellectually curious* to pursue more material on these subjects.

*By which I mean no one at the FSM Board

Ahhhh, Kafka.
What a nice chap he was.
I had a coffee with him once, in his nice little cafe in Prague? Or was it Budapest?
I always get those two cities mixed up (especially if it was a very heavy drinking session. There's nothing worse than starting out in one, and waking up the next morning in the other..I can only imagine waking up as a giant bug to be worse...possibly?).
Anyway, yes, Kafka. Or Franz, as he urged me to call him, as he took me by the hand (was he gay?).
I don't drink coffee, I said. Hate the stuff..even the smell.
So he ordered me a tea.
But it was Earl Grey, which I also detest. Horrid. Any PGTips, I ventured? Or Typhoo?
We didn't get off to the best of starts, did we.
So...Yes, but no, I guess.
What were we talking about again?

Kafka managed to bag lots of chicks in his day, despite all his no-self esteem and endless caterwauling about his mean old dad.

Speaking of tea, Earl Grey is a fekking delight when compared to the utter shite that is Lapsang Souchong.

My word is that shite horrid--it tastes like how burning tires smell.

Ological's analyses of Better Call Saul. Guy must watch episodes many times to notice all that stuff.

There's a whole channel devoted to Norbert the Dog. Many videos to choose from.

Just found and am enjoying this BillCarson-style beer reviewer, who gives remarkably fair assessments of various brands.

So you are the "K." in his books.

Daisuke Beppu, who often discusses Criterion Collection releases. However, for FSMer consumption, I submit his video about the Jaws movies. He could easily be "one of us."

Plus, he wears latter-era Bob Mitchum glasses.

Mark "Minty Comedic Arts" Bishop`s "10 Things you did not know about (insert a movie title here)". He is actually a fan of film music and apparently a huge fan of Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner among others.

Every FSMer should see this.

Day in the life of FSMers Doomers" videos.

Looks like Arthur Schopenhauer at the church at 02:26; nice touch.
