Too bad there weren't more source and alternative tracks as well as the movie version of push it to the limit and she's on fire

I don't find it ridiculous at all, when it's a holy grail we would like to see the original tape in its most luxurious presentation ....
What LA LA LAND RECORDS did for the 30th anniversary of DIE HARD is a treat to have!
I wish they would do the same for the 40th anniversary of SCARFACE!

Apples and oranges. The 40th anniversary edition of Die Hard featured brand new elements that weren’t available for the previous incarnations. (Main title, alternates, etc.)
You’re asking for what? Some alternate mix you heard in a making-of somewhere?
I don’t see anyone else asking for that aside from you.
This is a superb release that people have been begging for for decades. There is absolutely no need to revisit it. The dust hasn’t even settled on this new release and you’re already requesting another edition. Please show some respect.

As far as respect is concerned, I have always given respect to La La Land Records and I also respect all the members of this forum regardless of their opinions and tastes.
I respect enormously the work and the sweat of LA LA LAND RECORDS, INTRADA, .... I know that it is not easy I am aware of it... But don't forget that we are the ones who fill the coffers of LA LA LAND!!!
When I talk about doing a more luxurious edition, it's a business question for La La Land Records and they know very well what they are doing and with what title they are doing it ....
Look now with JURASSIC PARK ....

Jurassic Park is a great Classic, they know it will sell...
A composer like John Williams, there are not 2 lol
And it's like Jerry Goldsmith or James Horner,Thomas Newman,....
Scarface is a great classic and it lives very well with time. it's a Golden soundtrack !
I simply gave my opinion on Scarface ...Maybe with a deeper and more detailed feeling than you ...But Vintage synthesizers are my passion and that's why I would have liked to hear the other alternative versions, ....
But I accept your comments, you are free to give your opinion.

I absolutely agree that there are too few pictures from the studio in film score releases. Most people are not interested in 15 pictures from the film.
But I understand the problem is probably that few such pictures exist.

Sounds like a part of the music recording and not a tape defect. Note that it's in sync to the rest of the music.

Hello,
I always listen to Scarface since the release of la la land records,
my cd never gets dusty 
But while listening there is a track that disturbs me a little bit.
It's track 10 of disc 1 Sosa/Talk To Frank
I hear a breath like a locomotive in the track...I don't know if someone hears it like me... But when you listen to it with headphones or on good speakers, you hear it loud...
Is it part of the music itself or is it a defect of the tape?
