On the other hand, Cleaning Lady started really well, I took a shine to it, but has turned into a ...er... soap. Truly wash rinse repeat...lol. don't bother starting it.

Just finished watching DOUGLAS IS CANCELLED on ITVX. 4 part drama from Steven Moffat, which annoyed me at first (eps 1 & 2) but became engrossing and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE viewing in the last 2 eps. 3 is really hard to watch at times, in that sad 'this goes on' kind of way. 4 became contrived and a bit unbelievable but evoked that classic/ill-fated Prince Andrew TV interview. An ageing/popular news presenter (Hugh Bonneville) makes a sexist(?) joke at a wedding and it goes viral. His young female co-presenter (Karen Gillan) seemingly has the choice to help him out or end his career and legacy. David Arnold did the score (comedy/jazzy) which went in one ear out the other for me. Overall, thought provoking and worth a watch.

Ha! I sometimes call my eldest sister Mrs Bouquet, due to her sometime snobbery since she moved to live across the Mersey, from Liverpool (adopts Snobby voice) "To The Wirral*, Don't You Know" It proper winds her up. * aka The Dark Side

Loved Yellowstone. Superior drama. Superb cast. Costner is great, so is the actress playing his daughter, Kelly Reilly, and ranch foreman Cole Hauser. My only minor gripe was way too much endless cowboy show footage and frequently long montages with terrible Country n western songs. They had to include a few I get that, but it was an indulgence and an unnecessary avalanche. 1923 - loving this too. Ford n Helen Mirren great. Joe Pickett. Another good one, with perfect casting. House of the dragon. So far I'd found this rather a 2nd division Game of thrones - don't like Matt Smith in anything, and series seemed like a limp afterthought - but s2 is finally hotting up.

Late to the party again but I'm absolutely adoring The Offer. Paramount series on making The godfather. Casting is absolutely immaculate. Mathew goode - who I've seen as a bit bland in other things - absolutely steals the show as Robert Evans. But - in an amusing parallel with the godfather film - there's not one weak cast member, right down to the minor players. I'm blitzing thru it.

Loved Yellowstone. Superior drama. Superb cast. Costner is great, so is the actress playing his daughter, Kelly Reilly, and ranch foreman Cole Hauser. We're currently watching Yellowstone, and agree, it's very good. I have to admit, ever since I was a kid a loved westerns, so this show fits right in. Excellently cast (in addition to the already mentioned also Danny Huston, Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham...) , from the leads to the supporting characters and opponents, and for the most part very well written, with many interesting characters. What is particularly great that it's a show that tries to portray all the characters in a believable manner. It's also gorgeously photographed and well scored (title theme and episode scores by Brian Tyler). The Duttons sure have their own ruthless methods, so YELLOWSTONE is like THE SOPRANOS meets BONANZA, with a ranch, a widowed father, and his three sons... except he has three sons and one daughter, and one son dies right away. We're about halfway through, and it's the only TV show my wife currently watches. Don't know how well this well end, but at least it's entertaining along the way so far.

New season coming later in the year. Yes, it is superb. Another which has been fantastic is Mayor of Kingstown, with Jeremy renner. In a community with 6 prisons, He's a kind of prison/ gangland fixer with feet in all camps. Reminded me of the Shield and the thin line between rugged cops and rogue cops. If Yellowstone is a 9, this is 8.3 out of 10.

House of the dragon S2 What a swizz - not enough action throughout the series then huge last minute build up showing armies, ships and dragons going to war. End credits. Feel robbed.

Enjoyed beacon 23 on paramount. Eric on Netflix was ok, bendict cumberbatch was difficult but compelling watch. Cleaning lady was shit, couldnt wait for season to be over. Won't watch another. Avoid. Never shuda had a second season. Even the first was dragged out.

I understand a certain amount of cliffhanger joanie, thats fair enough, but becoz the previous episodes had been so devoid of action, it was a bit of an insult. Darryl dixon walking dead also excellent
