A question comes in my mind after a long time again: Is there a difference between the film- and album- version of the title song? Recently watched the movie again and I think the songs are not quiet the same.

In the movie the song has been trimmed

So there’s that - at least one answer to maybe one or many answers

I seem to remember they were contractually unable to mess with the song...

I am so glad this was in stock with Moonraker and TMWTGG. I had said to myself, after getting the Arnold expansions, I was only going to get the Barry expansions (and GoldenEye!) going forward. But then I was like...these scores don't get released every day and decided to go in on each Bond score and added this to my order. I don't recall the music in the movie much other than thinking it's one of the better non-Barry Moore scores...so looking forward to digging in.

How much extra score does the LL have over the previous not including source and alternates? Debating upgrading and can’t really tell looking at the track listings…

Martin was, next to Arnold, the best at imitating the Barry/Bond sound. This score has a lot of flavor to it. I find myself going back to it more than some of the other Barry scores from the franchise.

Add up the duration of CD1 and then the alternative tracks, and then compare with the duration of the 2003 edition - and you'll have an answer as to how much more music there is here.

Hint - noticeably more smile

Regardless of the additional score, the sound quality is a revelation, you should buy it for that alone.

It is an outstanding release.

It's a must have, not only because there's around 15 minutes of new music.
