"Star Trek Babies" is going to be HUGE.
Just think of the toy contracts!

"Helm, come about and change my diaper!"

Or "Khan Baby" -- the adventures of Khan's son aboard the Reliant before it blew.

No, really, there was a kid in the film but they deleted it. That weird close up the Genesis device on the transporter was a close-up crop to eliminate the kid who wandered up to it, reaches out to touch the device, and then BOOM!

I remember that!
I often wondered what happened to that kid.

(I think Meyer was right to adjust the shot. That would have been a genuine "whole-audience-gasp" moment.)

To obvious man, why didn't you pick the far superior movie "Paradise" with Willie Aames?

Weeelllll.....

Aside from the other arguments, you can argue that you are murdering an innocent baby which has yet to commit a crime. Why kill the innocent baby when you instead could give it a different upbringing, move him away, etc. The outcome can no longer be the same.

Instead of being known as Adolph Hitler: Jew Hating, Genocidal Socialist and Micro-penis Having Madman, he could have been Adolph Hitler: Peace Keeper or some such thing.

But hey, enjoy your innocent baby killing. That'll teach that unaware little child of God.

The kid was born a superhuman. Ya know how that goes. Think Charley X or Where No Man Has Gone before. Gotta support the Greeks methods in Troy. They're sure to grow up as my deadest of enemies. It's fate.

Heart disease can be spread.
Who knew?

I thought most people knew that heart disease can be 'spread' through families by the inheritance of genes. Making some people more susceptible and at risk to the disease than others.

It can also be 'spread' through society by apathy, ignorance (which seems to be where you fit in Oct wink ) and the continual acceptance of unhealthy lifestyles, where inactivity and over indulgence are normalised.

Furthermore it can be 'spread' by huge, monolithic profit-making corporations advertising and pushing their unhealthy products laden with sugar and fat to an addicted population and governments doing nothing about it.

So yes, heart disease can be 'spread', and it is causing an enormous strain on health services in the western world as experts have repeatedly stated. In fact it has been called an 'epidemic' where hundreds of thousands of people have prematurely lost their lives every year to this disease, making it the leading cause of death in the US. Have a look at the stats. wink
