Ooo, lovely! Checking on IMDB I see she was born Barbel Goutscherola on August 15th, 1943 in Liberec, Czechoslovakia, known as Reichenberg, during the German occupation. Her father, Fritz, was a war photographer. They migrated in December 1956 and settled in San Francisco (she speaks English, German and Italian with equal fluency). A bit more interesting than, left collage, went to stage school, got job.

In her unforgettable turn in Star Trek I'll venture to say that Jimbo still has her on his mind.

In her unforgettable turn in Star Trek I'll venture to say that Jimbo still has her on his mind. As do the rest of us. I reckon we do.
