For me I think it's DREAMS TO DREAM from FIEVEL GOES WEST.

I prefer "Then You Look At Me" as the best Celine of the two.

That's my favorite too.

I love "Dream to Dream" but I also really love "If We Hold on Together".

For me it's the Faith Hill version of "Where Are You, Christmas?", followed by the film version of "My Heart Will Go On."

I almost said WHERE ARE YOU CHRISTMAS!

I'm partial to "I See You" myself, but then Avatar is one of my all-time favorites from Horner. Desperately awaiting an expansion.

It's a tough choice, but I've always liked the two rousing ones from the AMERICAN TAIL films (There Are No Cat's In America & The Girl You Left Behind*).
I also like the End Credit songs from BICENTENNIAL MAN and THE NEW WORLD.
The missus...now she would choose If We Hold On Together...she loves that one.

*I sure do love me a hoe-down, Jeremiah..

I also prefer the film version here...

...to the Linda Ronstadt single version linked further up.

The film version is good, but I prefer Ronstadt's version it has more oomph. She's a fantastic singer!

I've always been fond of that one song he did for "Hocus Pocus" before he had to back out and recommended Portman (who backed out, not sure how to score it) and then recommended Debney. Lyrics: Brock Walsh.

mine is "Somewhere out there" (Film Version)

also like Michael Crawford singing "Please wake up" from "Once Upon a Forest"

as well as "one upon a time", the childrens choir at the end is a goose bumps guarantee smile

Not a popular pick but "Lillian's Heart Att-ack-ack-ack Rap" by the Beatbox Crew from BRAINSTORM is my personal favorite.

I do love "Dreams to Dream" and I've always wondered if it got more airings in the film than it does on the album? I've never seen the movie and my kids watched it without me (little bastards). Put another way, if an expansion were issued, would it feature more development of this wonderful theme?

I don’t think he ever wrote a bad song but in terms of which one I always return to it’s hands down “I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You” from The Mask of Zorro.

I see you from Avatar and There Are Flowers Growing Upon the Hill (Main Title version) from the Devil's Own

Braveheart's song "Homeland" (performed years after the film's release by Nolween Leroy, with James Horner's agreement) is terrific as well.

The theme first appeared in the first An American Tail, and then expanded in Fievel goes west with lyrics.

Thanks, I know it was introduced in AAT but there's basically only a wisp of it in that score. I was curious if its role gets expanded in the sequel. Apparently not if the "expansion" is only the song.

My personal favorites are his two "Wind" Love songs. I think they are simply gorgeous.

First from his rejected ROMEO AND JULIET score. "Our Love is like the Wind" superbly performed by Sissel:

And secondly it's somewhat cousin "Listen to the Wind" from his 99% unused THE NEW WORLD score, superbly performed by Hayley Westerna.
