Those samples are great... curious how long is the entire album compared to shortish and unorderable Take her she's mine... As I understand it they are planning to restock Take Her, which does still have over 31 minutes of score even though a handful of cues are lost to time. On this one the score proper runs over 42 minutes and the entire album is well over an hour including the extras (which include alternates, source music, and the audition version of the song). Yavar

I'm not sure if the vocalist is actually Carol. I think it might be the same lady who sang "When you've gone away" from his BABE TV Score. Oh ... then did Carol write the lyrics?

I wish the thread title was "Is the DON still ON?" I can make wishes come true! Zooba, your Genie in a Bottle! "Oh hi Mark!" There ya go! And, oh golly, am I still the recipient of "oh hi mark" jokes in the 2020s?

After hearing so many comments about the synth sounds being predominant in the score, I watched the opening of the film on YouTube and found the synth elements to be pretty subtle and not overly “out there”. This was definitely a period when Jerry enjoyed experimenting with electronics but in this case I don’t feel the effect was detracting. I look forward to this exciting premiere release! For me, ever since FSM's Logan's Run, I've been willing to give 70s synths another go when the sound quality improves so much, and not just the quality of the synths, which mattered so much with Logan, but the whole recording. When time corrodes music to mostly midrange, the synths get forefronted in a weird (and unintended) way. When the full range of sound is present, they seem to fold in better. That's how the new Don is Dead clips sound to me.

I’m so glad to hear that Kev! Did even the synth sound improve a bit for you as it did for me, when heard in good sound quality? Or are you just getting this for all the cues sans synth? Yavar
