Baxter appears to have retired from his short scoring career early. While other composers might try to move fruitlessly into some other field, this was not an issue for Baxter, who -- reading over this Wikipedia page -- appears to be a genius. His other work includes working on missile technology, top secret clearances, contracts on missile technology, working on the NASA Exploration Systems Advisory Committee, and he almost ran for Congress back in 1999. And more. This guy has probably been a part of technology that has protected our country and saved lives.
