In case anyone interested this soundtrack by Manfred Mann , it's available on disc #2 of Manfred Mann Radio Days Vol. 3 (BBC recordings of MM III) as a bonus item. However don't expect a sonic revelation.

Since the score wasn't released until 2010, how did the producers of Venus In Furs manage to get hold of the recorded tracks for The Name of the Game is...Kill?

"Venus in Furs" was made about 50 years ago. "Name of the Game is Kill" was made in 1968-69. The music was used very soon after the release of Notgik.

Yes, but were the tapes for TNOTGIK stolen and used for Venus in Furs? Were they loaned by one producer to another? Whose permission needed to be sought, but wasn't? As near as I can tell, the film TNOTGIK was not copyrighted at the time of its release.
The problem has always been, since I discovered this about 15 years ago, that I can't find out how
Franco got the tapes. After the dubbing of the NOTGiK, the only people with a copy of the master tapes were me, the studio an the music editor, who had the 35 mil transfers.. The music was published and registered with BMI. The producer, Joe Solomon. did mot have any copies of the tapes. Permission to use the music would have to had come from me and Joe Solomon.

The recently released "Manfred Mann Chapter III - Radio Days Vol 3 - Live Sessions & Studio Rarities" has a tremendous amount of music from VENUS AND FURS on it. The quality is pretty good given that it was sourced from the film.
The LP version that I purchased has a sticker on the shrink-wrap that reads "Artist Approved." Does this mean the artist (re: Manfredd Mann) is lying about the authorship of this music?

There is no hyphen between "artist" and "approved," thus suggesting that "artist-approved" is not an adjective to describe the album. Instead, it is a minimalist subject/verb sentence. Artist approved. We don't know which artist, or what (s)he approved. Brilliant marketing scheme!

I am curious about all of this as I rather like this film. I also like its music.
