Main title theme has a bit of Arnold's own SHERLOCK HOLMES, mixed with a very Nino Rota/Danny Elfman-ish circus waltz. Sounds cute. Looking forward to hear it. There's hardly any new Arnold these days.

Listening to this now. There's some good stuff here, in Arnold's SHERLOCK HOLMES style (sprinkled with a little bit of Danny Elfman and The Addams Family and a few electric guitars here and there), but the album is about a million minutes too long. I know it sounds weird to complain about too much music when we get a new Arnold score about every 10 years or so these days, but I think there's an excellent 50-minute programme in here somewhere. I'll put it on my evergrowing lists of projects to 'whittle down' to a good listening experience, when time allows.
I just wish he had combined several of the short cues into longer suites or something. Just when a track is about to get going, the track ends -- often less than a minute. This recurs throughout the album.
I preordered the cd for this from Amazon, and I just got notification that my order was cancelled due to lack of availability. And yet, the cd is still available for preorder on Amazon's site! Has anyone else received this?
