Before this second thread of wonderful alternate artwork works its way to page 2 and beyond, is there any way we can keep track of all of the titles? A running list at the beginning of the thread? Some kind of time-consuming, daily task that someone other than myself will need to maintain? It would be most helpful when needing to dig through 200 pages of posts, looking for that beautiful new artwork.

I don't think it is possible to link to specific posts, unfortunately.

Maybe, an idea would be to have everyone who's sharing their work here, to share the link to their hosting album or page. The link to mine is in my profile. Good idea. Also a cool French Connection II cover that I will now be using!

Raferjanders, I really love your recent 'The Bride Wore Black' cover but I was wondering if you could possibly do a variant for the new Quartet recording crediting Fernando Velázquez and the Basque National Orchestra? It would be most appreciated if possible!

Maybe, an idea would be to have everyone who's sharing their work here, to share the link to their hosting album or page. The link to mine is in my profile. My request would be to name the title of the score underneath the image or as part of the post somwhere. At least that way, you can do a word search. The problem for me arises when I'm trying to find a cover (they are superb, by the way, thanks to the incredible designers and artists who come up with them!) is that the images contain no text so a word search on the page is useless. Sometimes others will put in their thanks or comments and the name then appears, but otherwise it's a case of scrolling through. That's fun, but when you're trying to find one during an anally retentive iTunes artwork update evening, it can take a while!

That's a fine start. Thank you!

Good thinking - I'm going back and adding the titles into my posts from the Part I thread (where not already present). Yeah, I like this idea too. Those words searches will help quite a bit when this thread grows bigger. I try to stay on top of each and every post but sometimes it's easy to miss some great alternate artwork, or you make a later purchase and want to find that alternate artwork that didn't seem as important at the time.

Can you give an example of a cover art word search? Thanks!

Can you give an example of a cover art word search? Thanks! You just use your browser to do a word search on each page. The FSM board allows you see up to 100 posts at a time. Therefore, if you're looking for a specific cover, if the name of the film is typed next to it, you can word search each page. OK, there are about a dozen pages (each of 100 posts) in the original Custom Cover Art thread, but word searching each page would take a lot less time than scrolling through every image.
