I know the other "pumped up" mix does exist, cause I do have it. Where does this sound mix come from, zooba? Are you implying that, from 1978 until sometime before Varese's 2003 CD of MAGIC, this is how that cue sounded within the film?

I guess I just have a thing for ducks. Go figure. Zoob out. Zoob, you might want to listen to Ennio Morricone's music for the 1972 movie BLUEBEARD. There's quacking sounds in that, too, but reportedly the quacks were provided by a vocalist (a human vocalist, that is - not a duck).

There was also some "quacking" on one of the cues in the Takemitsu compilation cd (on Ryko?), if you're keen to pursue this further.
