The queues are back at supermarkets. When I get home tomorrow I think I'll climb into bed & stay there for a month.

I feel sorry for those poor postmen. Their sacks must be bulging. Especially with the new 72p pick up a parcel service recently launched. How do you know when you start your round that that someone like me may accost you at my front door with a pile of CDs that i want delivered - you have to take them. Ok if you have a van, but not if you have a bulging sack

Any items show up on your scanner, before you leave office. I'm on foot at the moment, so too big, sorry,by. Someone with a van will have to get it. However o haven't had any yet. I think there's only been one in the office, so far( I think).

Thanks Damian. On another subject, my wife (who is rabbit (the furry kind) mad) would like to see a picture of Sparky.

Alas sparky Is no longer with us( he's been dead about ten years). We've had two since. The current one is called Max ( commonly known as.' you little bastard'. Due to his desire to chew anything. I'll see about putting one up.
i've now put one in my profile, for now.

Oct 30th-31st shows the highest number of new cases (by a large margin) in the US and no one cares.
All the government has done is hold off evictions until January. Gotta 'save" Christmas for the capitalists.

I'm assuming that since you named him, he's "pet", not "food". Right? smile

Nov 4- 103,087 daily cases, 52,049 hospitalized, 1,116 deaths. Thankfully the latter is the low number. Sounds like hospitals are having trouble keeping up again.

I take 400IU 3 times a day plus what is in my multivitamin. I think it makes more sense to spread it out than just taking a large dose once a day.

But Chris, you said this was all a hoax that would go away the day after the election.

Well a bit of good news (& we could certainly use some):

"The first effective coronavirus vaccine can prevent more than 90% of people from getting Covid-19, a preliminary analysis shows.

The developers - Pfizer and BioNTech - described it as a "great day for science and humanity".

Their vaccine has been tested on 43,500 people in six countries and no safety concerns have been raised.

The companies plan to apply for emergency approval to use the vaccine by the end of the month."

Stock markets are rocketing up at the news.

A great day for Pfizer and BioNTech - who will make billions. Meanwhile a large portion of the American public wont be able to afford the vaccine.

And I thought I was cynical!

They're welcome to it if it stops all this. The vaccine being developed in Oxford also sounds very promising. This is the big news of the day, I think it will even knock the US President stuff off the headlines.
