Anyone can call themselves a "connoisseur".
It's sort of meaningless.

“Meaningless”? Yeah, whatever, Nietzsche.

That's "Connoisseur Of Nietzsche" to you. Thanks.

I'm not trekkie enough to understand this one.

My details maybe a little off but it goes something like this-

Nomad was a probe from an episode of Star Trek TOS called the "Changeling". The probe was sent from earth hundreds of years earlier to search for alien life in the galaxy. The probe was damaged on its journey. Nomad encountered another alien probe. The alien probe repaired the earth probe and sent it back to earth to find its creator.

V'ger was the probe from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It's mission was to search for alien life in the galaxy. Along the way it fell into the gravity well of a "machine" planet. The machine planet repaired the probe and sent it back to earth to find it's creator. The probe was revealed to be the fictional Voyager 6 spacecraft launched by NASA hundreds of years earlier. (NASA only sent out two Voyager probes in reality)

I'm not sure, but I volunteer to time-travel back to circa 1963 to investigate in detail.
