Chris Hemsworth is really a forgettable and non descriptive actor without his long hair, beard and hammer.

The Blaster Beam in Star Trek TMP soundtrack makes it sound cheesy and dated.

A reminder to those who think that how humans eat meat is cruel:

In nature, the predator usually starts eating its prey while it's still alive and screaming.

It's the only way to make sure it's fresh. Human predators only kill the animal so it's easier to handle.

Can you imagine the outcry if we adopted that same philosophy?
That would TRULY start a war (and not necessarily of the nerd kind).

Hey, I can play that game too:

A reminder to those who think that how (some/many) humans treat their young is cruel: in nature, the mother commonly abandons them to die from exposure or by predators, and the males commonly eat them.

Reaching into the "naturalist philosophy" grab bag to selectively rationalize the abuse, cruelty and torture perpetrated en masse against the other life forms on this planet by we, the self-appointed "civilized" ones, is not a sound argument by any measure.

Looking at how people treat the animals at wildlife markets and factory farms, I suspect it goes on all the time.

Jeez, maybe the Klingons were on to something.

(See how everything relates to The Star Track?)

Guilty as charged.
But what else could I do?
The stores were closed and the game was on.

I asked my roommate, and he agrees with the "fresher is better" philosophy. Unfortunately he lives by it.

Troy Duffy > Quentin Tarantino
I don't know Troy Duffy but, unfortunately, I do know more than I want to know of Infantilo, so chances are considerable the above statement is less comedic than intended.

I'm not sure what the last eight or so posts have to do with the subject of this thread, but I hope we can get back to some Tongue-in-cheek nerd wars.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Alex Kurtzman is the best thing to happen to Star Trek. Ever.

I thought that my very unsubtle comment would spur any lurking anti-meat SJW's into combat mode.
But you are right... not tongue-in-cheek enough.
Back to the drawing board.

Put comments on threads of people that have you on ignore.
They can't figure out how their thread keeps rising to the top.

Should've kept Diana Muldaur instead of bringing back that annoying Crusher doctor character.
