A person who pays for an autograph - esp. from STAR TREK spinoffs- is a GEEK, not a nerd!

I think I would also qualify as a nerd if I pointed to my shelf with one each of the following:

Spanish/English dictionary
French/English dictionary
German/English dictionary
Latin/English dictionary
Italian/English dictionary
ASL dictionary

That makes me a nerd too then. Think I have about a dozen English dictionaries of various publishers, sizes and ages, plus 2 German, 2 French, 1 Latin, 3 'phrase and fable', plus various thesauruses and crossword-solvers-dictionaries. No Italian, Spanish or sign language though :-)

I'd ask "Sweet Thing" how exactly a hand becomes sentient and learns to speak.

Boom!

@ To Adam B.: where did you get those, may I ask? Very nice.

I work for a major printing company (going on 22 years).

I print these 30"x30" size on a plotter that uses wax instead of ink. I then trim them to size, bring them home and tape them to my walls.

Nice little work-perk. smile

I married one and gave birth to one..it is contagious, familial and hereditary you know!

"I gave birth to one" made me laugh. But I get what you meant. And way to go for raising proud nerds.

The eastwood same-pattern ponchos haven been available for years - i saw someone riding a motorbike wearing one recently - also available are a replica of his alpine camoflage jacket from Where eagles Dare.

even if its from Ecuador it may well be a genuine serape/poncho by bonafide locals, but its still a replica of the design. If it isnt the same then its just a serape.
Nothing go do with eastwood at all. Right?
