El Scorchio!
We could have been in Florida today, for how the day went.
Glorious morning.
Lunch time and afternoon spent in a outdoor shopping retail outlets, that looked and felt like Orlando (bought a shirt and some shorts).
And a dip in the swimming pool (brother in law has a doozy in his back yard) on the way home from said outlets.
Chilling in our own back yard now (sans swimming pool) with some beers and my Good Lady for company smile

+30 ish. Has been for a week or too and will be for at least another, apparently. Feels like being smothered with a complementary hot towel when you go outside.

Too damned hot! (southeast of England), but it looks like it'll break & we'll get storms Sat/Sun.

I'm in Kent (South East of England - to the right of London!) and its 24 degrees C and sunny. Virtually no breeze. However, we had storms and rain yesterday and it has cooled down a bit from Sunday, Monday.

On the thermometer ( on the shed door ) it's 90°, in some shade. 81° on my boudoir. It took longer to do my posting today, even the letters were hot. Beads of sweat dripping down the face onto my glasses. Horrible. Anyone who says this weather is great ,don't work in it.

Still fkn hot walking round in it from 8.30am til about 13.30. knackering, sticky, drippy. I wore a cap for the first time in years. Still sweat like hell.
Favourite comments.today- ' are you warm enough'!!

God what a week! I'm just west of London, & it's been very hot (although nothing compared to how its been in some places). I don't mind the days so much, but it's hard to sleep at night. I've been sleeping with the help of a large fan next to the bed & lots of alcohol. There's supposed to be thunderstorms tomorrow, I'm going out to my favourite market & taking my little fold-up umbrella, but the thought of getting soaked is quite nice.

It rained hard early this morning, but only for about ten minutes (woke me up), but nothing since, just overcast all day.

Pretty hot in Seoul... I just converted the temps into the weird American system:
Over the next few days: 99, 99, 99, 97, 97, with overnight minimums of 77-79.

For those used to normal celcius, that's: 37, 37, 37, 36.... with overnight minimums of 25-26.

It could be hotter though, it's just a little unusual to have long stretches over 35/99, and that's been the temperature for about the last week.
