Tegan and Ace back for Jodie's finale in November.

Joining them are the Master, Kate Stewart, Daleks and Cybermen. And a regeneration. That's a lot to fit in.

I thought last night's episode was pretty average.

Hopefully, Ace will bring along some Nitro 9.

I have a question. I watched Day of the Doctor over the weekend. For a split second I thought I saw Capaldi as the Doctor. I'm pretty sure he spoke too. Was that added later on after he was hired to play the Doctor or did they know at that point he was going to become the Doctor and was there all along. Or was I just imagining it?

He was already cast and announced by the time of DotD. On one hand it was a nice surprise for fans that he was included in the special. Slightly annoyingly it's also the kind of thing Steven Moffat was famous for in there was no real in universe excuse for it written in. I suppose we can wave it since celebration stories tend to be more party celebrations than 'serious' stories.

Eve Of The Daleks was OK, and a lot easier to follow than Flux.

And Yaz admits she has fallen for the Doctor.

Legend Of The Sea Devils, then? They're keeping the original design.

Call me old fashioned, but really wish they’d keep sodding romances involving the Doctor out of Who. Turns it into a tiresome stereotypical fan-fic level bad soap opera. I guess they forgot about the following interview very quickly :

Daleks and Cybermen back again? Talk about over-used.

The writers really need to retire these two villains for a good few years.

But I will look forward to the episode anyway, just because it will see the end of the awful Chibnall/Whiitaker era. If I’m really lucky they will blow up Yaz too.

You’re not alone, I think exactly the same. I want to watch Dr Who not Dr Woke.

It really didn't go woke until the Capaldi Doctor. Then full on with Whittaker. I didn't have an issue with the romantic stuff. They purposely brought in younger actors to play the Doctor to bring in a wider audience, and it worked.

What a total shock, did t see that coming…. I’m sure he has been cast solely due to acting ability and absolutely no other factors at all.

After he leaves, I fully expect the next Doctor to be openly gay or “gender neutral”.

“Ncuti” is pronounced “SHU-tee” apparently

i thought it would be another woman so I'm surprised.

Man or woman, what does it matter, the BBC fucked up, forever I might add, a once brilliant show. A diversity hire. RIP Doctor Who.

Loved Tennant as the Doctor and Tate was surprisingly good too.

Just a shame Davies is back as show runner.

The BBC has confirmed that both David Tennant and Catherine Tate will be returning to Doctor Who to help mark the show's 60th Anniversary.

The Tenth Doctor, as played by Tennant, was paired with Donna Noble, played by Tate, in Series 4 of Doctor Who shown in 2008.

Often described as one of the most loved pairings in Doctor Who’s history, the two have reunited and are filming scenes that are due to air in 2023 to coincide with the show’s Dimond Jubilee celebrations.

The Doctor and Donna parted ways when the Doctor had to wipe Donna's memory, making her forget him, in order to save her life. He left her family with a warning: if ever she remembers, she will die. But with the two coming face to face once more, the big question is, just what brings the Doctor and Donna back together?

Russell T Davies, Incoming Showrunner says:

They're back! And it looks impossible - first, we announce a new Doctor, and then an old Doctor, along with the wonderful Donna, what on earth is happening? Maybe this is a missing story. Or a parallel world. Or a dream, or a trick, or a flashback. The only thing I can confirm is that it’s going to be spectacular, as two of our greatest stars reunite for the battle of a lifetime.

Tennant left the series in 2010 but returned for the 50th Anniversary story The Day of The Doctor.

They were my second favorite pairing after Smith and Gillan.
