Found in a rubbish bin at a kerb in London: the 2-disc set of the Beatles' white album.

Probably to make up for the fact that my curbside Dracula is now worth not much more than tuppence. smile

I just turned it into a metronome*. Now it's actually useful to me!

*and without going through the Google-Wants-To-Know-Everything-I-Do Store.

Found a pile of PS3 games on the stairs of my apartment complex with a "free" Post-It attached to them. Traded the lot into Gamestop for a whopping $7.50.

This actually happened to me a few months back -- even though it's very uncommon in Norway; we don't have yard sales the way you do in the US, and it's not legal to just leave things by the curb. But down by the glass recycling bins, there were two huge bags of CDs that someone had just dropped there for some reason (probably because they were moving), even though it's not glass or anything. I looked quickly through them, but found nothing of interest -- my CD want list is very short and strict these days anyway, so I didn't expect anything. However, on top of one of the bags lay a hardcover copy of LORD OF THE RINGS. The book was somewhat "tired", but fine enough to keep. It now has a new life on my shelf; although I don't know if I'll read it anytime soon -- especiallly not after having seen the films so many times.

Lately, however, I've done the "opposite". I've cleaned up my storage room in the basement, as well as my apartment. Thrown some of it away, given other things to local flea markets or friends. It's very therapeutic to reduce the amount of STUFF one has amassed over the years, that one hardly ever uses.

Must of been two bags of expansions.

No, then I'd just pick them up and sell them for a big pile of money!

So, I'm checking out a pile of stuff left by the curb for giveaway. And I'm not surprised to see used masks there, two of them. Nor am I surprised to see that they are black.

But what does surprise me is that they are a little heavier-weight fabric than I've seen. "How does someone breathe through that?" I wondered.

And they are concave, but not quite enough to fit around someone's chin. "That weird," I thought.

"And what's that? They're..... hooked together?? That's......

Oh, wait a sec'. It's a brassiere."

Yes, the curb, I found out that my sister's long-time-school friend of 15 years is a whore only 31, this gal use too be very-pretty, school-queen she also did ad's but somehow some-way the link of drugs-pimps have destroyed her once features.

I recently took her in for some-days giving her money too clean herself up with my wife & daughters vigil assistance, I now know that was quite wrong as she stole goods, we're not upset about what's gone just how she treated us, we fed her, clothed her, my gals bathed her, giving up my daughters room so she could rest peacefully then one morning she cleaned-us out.

I phoned the police haven't gave her real name just her appearance as we're insured, but I told the police that my family tried too help this desperate young-gal who has gone past rack & ruins with rough-street life, pity, she is a devious gal now, sooner or later someone will hunt-her & hurt her, I can only hope the police just take her into custody she's broken our hearts we gave her respectful love which was missing for years, pity.
