Great film segment, even though the presenter calls it "soccer"! I seriously doubt this program was intended for the American audience (the use of "You'll Never Walk Alone" notwithstanding)
1974: The Kopites of Liverpool FC:
Thirty seconds in there's a Mike Rawlins clone and then there's a brief shot of a young Kev McGann (0:39).
Edit: Liverpool FC finished 2nd in the 1973-74 footie season, when this film aired. Guess which team won the first division that year?

That Was the Team That Was - Leeds United - 1973-1974 Documentary
I’ll be watching that! Leeds have just launched the new away kit based on the one worn in the picture. Thinner collar, larger “smiley” badge, but otherwise very similar. Thought about getting one at the ground yesterday but they’ve run out of 2XL.

I was looking to see if the club were selling shirts online, because if I recall correctly, years ago they weren't doing so, but it appears that they are now. $85.00 for a home Leeds United shirt.
Not crazy about the yellow away, but one cannot go wrong with the classic white shirt.

The club sold 15,000 away shirts in the 24 hours following the launch of the yellow kit. The new white one has underwhelmed a lot of fans, featuring as it does the Red Bull logo in a colour that to many represents sacrilege: many of them forgetting that we played a game or three in full red kits before most of them were born.
The giallo kit (as I like to think of it) shows the logo in blue.

I will continue to "bone up" on my Leeds United history. Have you seen this one, TG?
