SchiffyM might be interesting to talk with. In small doses.

He's so cuddly, I want to squeeze him. Which one are you referring to? The Earl? Or Lord Castlemouldy?

Oh, the list of FSMers I've ALREADY hung out with has become long over the years. Just using whoever's posted in this thread as an example, there are a few: I almost met Josh in San Diego, but that somehow fell through. Can't remember why. I think he hated me at the time. I've met Sir David of Garland twice - once in San Francisco, once in London. I've hung out with Francis a few times. Shame he doesn't hang out here anymore. We went to the salt mines in Krakow together, and we both got fined for not stamping our bus ticket. Met drivingmissday in Los Angeles during his film score shindig in 2012 (at Morricone's place -- the board member, not the composer). Met riotengine in San Francisco (same meeting as I first met David). Bruce Marshall was also there, and the departed Basil Wrathbone, and Michael Scorefan. Basil gave me a CD of the Baxter/Piccioni TORA! TORA! There was heart behind his gruff exterior. TallGuy twice - once in Newcastle, another in London (also with David). One of my favourite people. And of course, while not technically IRL, there are the Zoom chats with Jim, Onyabirri, Bill and others. No scandals so far, at least not in the ones I've hosted. Would have loved to meet these guys IRL; same with frequent Zoom participant Alan (Falkirkbairn). We've interacted so many times over the years, I feel like we've practically met IRL. But we haven't.
